Amer Siddiqui

Head of Asset Management – UAE Clusters, UAE Investment Platform at Mubadala Investments Company, Strata Vice Chairman of the Board

Amer Siddiqui currently serves as a Head of Asset Management for the UAE Clusters portfolio at Mubadala’s UAE Investment platform, managing a number of portfolio companies in multiple sectors across Aviation, Space, Healthcare, and ICT. In this role he is responsible for the portfolio’s performance as well as supporting the Executive Director in overseeing, managing, and executing the overall strategy of the unit. Before joining the Mubadala group, Mr. Siddiqui held senior roles for some of the world’s leading blue-chip organizations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Cable & Wireless PLC, Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBOS) PLC, and Dubai World.

Mr. Siddiqui has served as a Strata Board member since 2018 and was recently appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. He also served as Strata’s Chief Financial Officer from 2011 till 2017.

With 25 years of experience across a wide section of industries and cross-border international jurisdictions, Mr. Siddiqui possesses in-depth experience and knowledge within the areas of Financial Control, Business Performance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Risk Management, Commercial & Financial Due Diligence, and Investment Appraisal.

Other than being a Vice Chairman for Strata Manufacturing, Mr. Siddiqui also serves as the Chairman of the Human Capital & Remuneration Committee at Strata as well as a Board member and Chairman of the Human Capital & Remuneration Committee for the Sanad Group, Mubadala’s national champion in Industrial Services and Leasing business under the UAE Cluster portfolio.

Mr. Siddiqui is a Fellow (FCA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and holds a BA (Honors) degree in Accounting & Finance from Kingston Business School, London, UK.
