Strata Manufacturing PJSC (‘Strata’), wholly owned by the Mubadala Investment Company and specializing in advanced composite aircraft structures manufacturing in the UAE, has announced its collaboration with SWS Board Technology (“SWS”). SWS are one of the world’s largest manufacturers of action sports boards and based in the UAE. SWS will upcycle materials used in the aerospace industry by Strata for the production of action sports boards.

This initiative is part of Strata’s vision as a national company, reflecting its commitment to establishing effective and productive partnerships across various sectors within the country, showcasing Strata’s local and global manufacturing capabilities, and demonstrating its ability to leave a significant mark in manufacturing and compete in various fields under the UAE’s economic diversification strategy.

Through this initiative, Strata and SWS are proactively enhancing sustainable consumption, manufacturing, and production patterns. This collaboration signifies both companies’ commitment to reducing their environmental footprint within the shared vision and sustainable efforts at the national level.
